Lockton and Levisham Heritage group are hoping soon to publish 2 booklets. One is about the Monastic Grange on Levisham Moor, where Malton Priory established a sheep farm in the early years of the 13th century. The remains can still be traced on the ground, and there are also documents relating to it.
The second is about more recent events - about how the 2 villages had got their first piped water supply.
