My name is Brenda Green from Yorkshire Ancestors. We run a Family History research centre with accommodation in Ebberston between Pickering and Scarborough. Our centre is well-stocked with books, magazines, parish register transcriptions, census, local histories and many other finding aids relating to Yorkshire. Although most of the material relates to Yorkshire we can also help with research worldwide via the internet. We run regular kick-start classes and also offer 1 - 1 assistance. We also have a very wide range of CD,s of rare, out of print books and parish register transcriptions.
Our accommodation consists of en-suite bed & breakfast (3 rooms), 2 self-catering cottages and a small adults only caravan park. Anyone staying in our accommodation has access to the library at most times free of charge. Day visitors are welcome at a modest charge.
